March 1, 2021

I did a project just like this in 2016, and what you’re reading now is my “2021 update” to the lists; and this time around, CGC label note information is included, any 1980’s CPVs link directly to the 2021 edition of the CPV price guide, and pence price variants are included/notated now as well — making this 2021 version of the key comics lists a major upgrade from the version I first published here five years ago! Enjoy! 🙂

It is interesting to compare how things have changed over the past five years, both in terms of the CGC counts of key comics, and which comics filter to the tops of these key comic lists! For anyone who wants to compare 2021 vs. 2016, my old 2016 version of lists of key comics by year, can be found here.
Special thanks to Greg Holland, whose great research website was an invaluable tool in helping me assemble these lists!
